Sharing Japan While Learning English
My first step with “Japan Walk & Talk”
Introduction
Hi there — welcome to Japan Walk & Talk. This blog is my place to share the beauty of Japan while I learn and practice English.
My English is not perfect yet, and that’s okay. I started this blog because I want to use English to describe what I see and feel — not just to study grammar. This space is about expressing, learning, and connecting.
“You don’t need perfect English to share something beautiful.”
Why I Started This Blog
I realized that talking about Japan in English would be one of the best ways for me to improve. Instead of memorizing lists of words, I want to use English to tell short stories about the places I walk through and the people I meet.
While I will write in English first, I will sometimes add brief Japanese notes for clarity. My main goal is to help both English learners and overseas readers discover small, quiet moments of Japan — especially in Kanazawa, a city I love for its peaceful streets and traditional charm.
Learning English while walking through Japan — one story at a time.
What You Can Expect
Here are the kinds of posts I’ll share:
- Useful English phrases for travelers in Japan (phrases I actually use while walking and filming)
- Personal walks and local discoveries in Kanazawa — written in simple English with short notes
- Explanations of Japanese words and feelings — for example wabi-sabi, omotenashi, and momiji — and how I try to describe them in English
I hope this blog becomes a friendly place where English learners and Japan lovers can meet. I’ll post photos, short English diary entries, and phrase boxes you can try yourself.
Let’s share Japan together, in simple and sincere English.
Final Thoughts
My English is a work in progress. Every post is a step forward. If my words help even one reader feel a little closer to Japan, then I am happy.
“It’s not about speaking perfectly. It’s about speaking sincerely.”
Thank you for visiting Japan Walk & Talk. Let’s walk, learn, and share Japan with the world. 🌏
